  • SIU's open scrimmage

An article discussing SIU's open intrasquad scrimmage.
    Mostly a defensive battle
"The Salukis battled each other for 12 minutes (4-four minute quarters) and showed off the defense that won them the conference tournament in March."

Tatum & Shaw had 11 pts ea, and some good words for a lot of their players.
They sound like they're doing fine defensively.

I am not a math major- but wouldn't 4-four minute quarters equal 16 minutes?
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

Nice job with your math...but I was only quoting what the article says...

It says precisely this (I am cutting and pasting)

"The Salukis battled each other for 12 minutes..."

      and

"in four quarters that were four minutes apiece."

So, I don't know how long they played, just what the article said.

If you want, although they don't give an e mail address for the author, Matt Hartwig, they do give a phone number for the sports dept. edtior, Jordan Wilson...
