Just bc he's a class act as a person does not make him a good coach...another year should not be warranted unless he outperforms expectations...what those are now remains to be seen...

That said, i do agree with your second point

Have wondered that for a while. Has anyone sustained more injuries than us the last decade? I believe DR had a stat that only Indiana St had lost more starter-games to injury than us. Sure there are things you can control, and things you can't control, but how many of these things could we have controlled? I think it's a fair question.

I don't know the answer to that. I know he was still going to Sisson to collect paychecks for a while after he had been dismissed. Agreed that finances certainly come in to play.

Does this mean sticks won't be back for his fifth year?

I believe he had two years remaining (same as Les from what I gather)

Well from deductive reasoning someone will be thrown out basically...

So it's either Sticks or more likely a guard doesn't come back...who's to say it won't be DSE...

Les has rode him harder than anyone so far.

Dse would have to sit out a year or go D2.

So-- some of us will get our wish to see two bigs, since I don't see any other way to play.

                    PG - DSE, WL
Wings - AW, DD, JE, MK
                    PF - WE, MK
                    C - JP, AT

Projected lineup DSE, DD, AW, WE, JP?

I seem to recall at least one situation where a team was allowed to have 14 scholarship players because someone was granted a medical waiver after LOIs signed for a full recruiting class. Anyone else remember that?

                      Outside of that two options:
                      1. Someone won't come back
                      2. SM walks on

Or I guess a "dark" 3rd option: SM unable to come back at all.

No way someone could make SM pay his way after what he has done for the program.

I would probably say option 2 is what might happen or SM gets some type of academic scholarship.

There's no guarantee Maniscalco will be granted the medical redshirt, so let's not start counting our chickens just yet.

what?? this is insane -- DSE isn't going anywhere...
                              try checking the current stats...
there are three players who average much under 15 minutes per game -- and all three average way,way under 15 minute per game...one averages 15 minutes under 15 mpg...so use a little deductive ability on who might be the likeliest to head to juco next year

I agree Tornado I was just saying if he leaves it would cost him a year.
