I saw this the other day during a drive through Chicago. Pretty pathetic.

What is pathetic about that? They are Chicago's Big 10 team, and have a much better record of success the last 15 years than any other team in the state. Facts are facts.

Because EVERYONE knows that Illinois is really Chicago's Big-10 team. Hence, the need to state the obvious.

Sadly, Illinois football generally gives no one anything to cheer for. Don't see what makes the ad campaign 'pathetic'. It would be like calling a Bradley campaign 'pathetic' for claiming to be 'Peoria's Basketball Team' when there are more Illinois fans in the Peoria area then there are BU fans.

Chicago's fanbase is a PRO sports team 1st. Nwestern competes with Bears,Bulls/Cubs and BHawks.

Depaul and Nwestern BOTH have to win..win alot...win often and STILL will drag when it comes to attendance.

That is why it is so depressing to see Bradley not playing up to expectations because other then Wichita nobody else stands out.

I am just curious - What are your expectations at this point? Here are mine -

With TB it was contend/top 3.

Without TB it's stay out of Thursday.

If another key player goes down, my expectations for anything respectable are gone. At that point I want to see guys who are going to be here next year get coached up and get a lot of minutes.

Not trying to criticize or anything; my outlook on the season given the circumstances has changed quite a bit lately and just wondering if yours had as well.

With all the experience we have we should finish no worse then 4th, great coaching would get us 3rd or 2nd, Wichita is much better and should finish 1st, T.Brown cannot be replaced but we still have enough talent to win plenty of games, just don"t believe this coach can get us to where we should be, hope I am wrong about him as this is S.M;A.W; and D.D"s last chance to go out on top.

I agree. Either there's enough talent there to be a top half team despite injuries, or the talent level has dropped tremendously. Either way, all roads lead back to one spot and one person. Saying otherwise would mean that there's zero accountability for the program.

MVC 8th? Wow, all the other conferences in the US rated behind the MVC must really s***...

The MVC is the best of the mid major conferences! Thrilling!
