I agree, I was going to watch the Duke game at a local watch party, but I am too embarrassed to watch what is sure to be a killing in public. Maybe I could adopt the Detroit Lions mentality and wear a paper bag over my head to the next Bradley game i go to.

Maybe they saw the blue uniforms and thought they were playing Duke already.

          Now there's a little humor.

Embarrassed? Maybe the team and players should be but as an alum I'm more pissed that our guys are not performing to their expectations, but embarrassed? I'm not personally. I went to BU for academics and the basketball program was a bonus. If our academics programs were called out for under-performing then that would be embarrassing.

That response right there is one of the problems with Bradley basketball. We have too many die hard fans who accept failure. I stated before the season started that just because the players are a year older doesn't make them better. I said the guards could not shoot. I said that nobody rebounds. Now everyone stands around. Was TB going to do everything? We could play 6 guards and we are still poor shooters and will not rebound. I don't care how much a guard wants to rebound; after a while he will get tired. There's a reason teams don't play 5 guards. We have two good guards coming next year. Who is going to rebound? We have 7 footers that don't even take up space on the bench. Notre Dame has a 6'6" - 6' 8" center that scored 38 points the other night and all I hear is that he is too slow or can't jump. God forbid that Bradley would recruit an inside banger. We play in the MVC not the Big Ten or ACC. OH PLEASE!!!

Nothing is anyone's fault, excitement is at an all-time high, the program will die if a change is made, you can't expect us to win a team game if one guy is injured, especially against low-major bottom feeders. The spin is coming.

Don't worry mrcoachdude. There have always been a tiny minority of people who want to blame real fans like you when things don't please them. In reality, they should thank the "die hard fans" he is referring to, because without their support, Bradley probably wouldn't even be playing Division I sports.

I don't think ANY fans "accept" failure. For the FINAL time...we ALL see it differently...we ALL have varying degrees of tolerance.....we ALL don't have the same makeup and life experiences so we ALL react differently to what transpires.

Some will vent.....some will internalize.....some will see it half full while others see it half empty.

Whats going on ON the court has NOTHING to do with us......what goes on ON the court though has almost everything to do with how we feel and react.

NO ONE feels good about losing to EIU.......period.

Well said. Nobody likes losing- The fans, but especialy the players and coaches.
It would be nice if everyone was healthy, and we wouldn't be talking about this. But maybe things happen for a reason. We just have to get through them.

                        For the record....

I'm not happy right now. I want Bradley to be better. I want better results.

                        But IF...

... we let Coach Les go... and we hire either McClain or (re-hire) Molinari - I'm done with BU hoops.

                        DONE!

Haha, we don't have a chance getting a guy like Jerrance Howard. He is one of the hottest assistant coaches in basketball, and would go absolutely against the hiring practices in place since JoJo got here.
