I have a question.
Where are all of you getting daily updates on SM ankles? Where are you finding out that it is a fact his ankles were bothering him so bad during the EIU game that it is the cause of his terrible performance?
I am not finding these updates...how do we know his ankles didn't feel great the other night? JWComment

Just rumors from insiders. You won't find anything officially published. But his ankles aren't healthy and anyone could see that against EIU.

I think I'll trust all the multiple medical specialists locally and elsewhere that have cleared him to try to play. He needs to find out if he can play before it's too late this season.Comment

Judging by what we've seen from Sammy thus far, I don't think anyone would have a problem with him deciding to rest and heal and prepare for a 5th year. He's won 1 game for us already, which is 1 more than he'd have won not trying to play. While hindsight is 20/20, I would not have played Sammy against EIU and given his ankles a rest after a 4 games in a very short period. I would have let DSE and WL handle the point. One would have thought that they could handle the job agaist the panthers. Maybe not ... or maye we would have won the game with Sammy sitting out.Comment
