Division III game ties 7-overtime record

Skidmore College beat Southern Vermont College 128-123 in 7 overtimes. It beat the previous Division III record of 5-overtimes, and tied the overall record 7-overtime game between D1 Bradley and Cincinnati. The D2 record is also 7-overtimes. -

The Skidmore release says they won "The longest game in history"..but someone from Bradley should correct them on this!!

The box score shows -- one guy had 28 rebounds, and you have to wonder what kind of team play has only 16 assists for 113 shot attempts!

And although nothing in this game affects some of the records set in BU's 7-OT game, there was one player
who played all 75 minutes!

the only other such game in D-I was Bradley's 7-overtime loss to Cincy....
