This is the exact lineup I posted in another thread. Maybe not for the whole year, but lets give the freshman an opportunity to get some minutes and really see what we're going to get out of them and give JP some real experience, I still contend this year that he could be the x-factor in our season.

Egolf had a one handed slam on a rebound.
Will has all the potential to be very good , he needs to quit committing stupid fouls, also it would help if we did not have him setting screens 22 ft. from the basket.
        I would start:
        S.M.
        A.W.
        W.L.
        J.P.
        W.E.
I would also use Will and J.P. in a high post low post offense as they can be more effective if we keep them on the block, Will has proven he can score in the low post and high post, it is only a matter of time when J.P. starts scoring inside as he knows how to get himself open down low, our guards are good enough to be able to screen for each other and also beat their man off the dribble to get good shots, if we expect our big men to contribute as far as rebounding and scoring we need to keep them inside.

I like this line-up (as I've stated), because it does give will the flexibility to go out of the paint for some jumpers occasionally. But I agree, he needs to realize his bread and butter is staying in the key.

I think I remember a tip dunk by either Will or JP...possibly in the TAMUK game. Anybody else remember this??? Or am I losing my mind again?

              In this thread it says.....

I thought the Kaboom sign had a 1 on it at the last home game.

There was a dunk against TAMK.

Egolf had a one handed slam on a rebound.

Remember when we started games last season with Chris Roberts running the baseline for a lob dunk. We quite often started the game doing that and also after timeouts. This season I'm seeing the first play of the last few games being a post pass to Will for a layup. So see if the first play tomorrow night goes to Will. IMO Will doesn't get enough touches during the game, I know some of that is due to foul trouble and some of it may be due to missing layups or easy shots when he does get it. I believe he will settle down and will start making the ones we know he's capable of making. All the bigs seem to be playing tight, afraid to make a mistake. I think the bigs would be more into the game if one of them got a touch on each offensive trip and also playing a high-low post offense.

I could eventually see us using the play we used with Roberts out of time outs with WL, since WL is one of our more athletic guards.

We tried it with him at home and the defender kind of got a piece of the ball and messed it up.

WHY is so many ready to bench DD I think he has played good and his stats are not bad He is our best d player DSE is the one starter that is struggling and maybe better coming off the bench. I like WL a lot and like what he beings off the bench Most young players do better coming in off the bench with a feel to how the game is going. In my opinion, I am not sitting my senior experience and best D player for NO reason But I am sitting DSE and starting JP. This gives us good players, with fresh young legs off the bench, keeps our 3 seniors, most experience players and two bigs in at the same time This line up will help WE's play while giving playing time to JP

                      JP
                      WE
                      DD
                      SM
                      AW

Frankly, the "kaboom" sign needs to come down...it's kind of out of date...dunks shouldn't be so novel for a good D1 team that they're counted.

I think we need a version of when he was in trouble earlier in the season. With 1 foul in the 1st half - He sits for the rest of the half.
We need him in the 2nd half, and I bet even Jim is tired of his bad foot work and lazy slaps at the ball. He may still foul out until he learns how to play D better, but more playing time when really needed.

I like that lineup OOB. What's happened to Milos after being one of the "stars" against LM?
What part of illegal don't you understand?

My opinion of Milos is he is pushing himself to hard as you can see he wants to do good He seems out of sink with the game and just needs to let the game come to him. He's rushing his shots and also needs to step in closer before he shoots when he can, as some of his shots have been out there a ways I like his attitude and hustle I don't think Jimmy has given up on him I think if he can get going, he will be big for this team

Oh, I played 18 at Kellogg today FROZE MY ASS OFF

If you played today, sorry, I can't feel sorry for ya. Looked nice until I stepped outside. My clubs go in the travel bag this weekend.
