I know -- but NCAA thought something fishy was going on with some schools using their guides as recruiting tools....so they're under a soft ban....

I too wish they sold these again as it is nice to go back years ago to look at the teams of the past, I subscribe to chop-talk and get a monthly magazine of the Braves which is great reading about the present and future players but miss reading the media guide.I would think it could be a money maker at 10.00 for BU.

Loyola Marymount has a very nice one on their website. Its very slick.

As slick as Steve Lavins, or Jimmy's hair?
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

I have them from many years back also. Also game programs back to the early 60's. I guess if we have a question about the program we can always look at the last guide printed, but they sure were good reading and don't see why they stopped printing them. Can't believe the NCAA would object so much that BU couldn't keep it up.

              FYI-

Most of the information that was available in the media guides will now be kept up in a "History" section on bradleybraves.com:

While not as handy as the media guides, over time, all the information will be there.

It's probably a generational divide, but it's not like I see people go out of their way to pick up a TV Guide to see what will be on TV in the next couple of days. I usually go on Zap2it.com, and if I want to check movie listings, I could go online as well. And if you have satellite or digital cable, then there's no point in buying them.

Same with the media guides. It probably costs the school a pretty penny to publish those things, when you can just put them online and then folks can print to their choosing.

You're right. It IS a generational thing and never the twain shall meet. I, for one, would prefer my recliner, a roaring fire, a Jameson's on the rocks in one hand and a spectacular BU media guide in the other.

P.S. At Carver, I am able to stand and cheer when the situation warrants.

But then have to sit down as soon as there is a timeout. Can't miss the cactus race or the announcement about how many points you need to get a buy one get one free.

Just call me "Mr. *****le." I'm 3 for 3 and can't wait to get to Carver tomorrow night. I forget, is there a game tomorrow night, too?
