He points out how a few Valley teams will take on anyone and tries to get into the better and more prestigious tourneys,,,,and that's how BU gets USC, Wichita gets UConn, UNI gets Syracuse...etc..
but then this comment...about how a few of the Valley teams avoid any team whose RPI is better than 300...

"For every WSU or Creighton (and Bradley) that takes on all comers, there is an Illinois State or Evansville with a less-ambitious plan"

Not including our crew in Peoria, Suellentrop (IMO) is the best beat writer in the Valley. He does excellent research and stays on topic without any hidden agendas.

I interviewed him once for my BU site... nice guy.

I agree -- he's good -- he covers Wichita sports tremendously -- almost as if it is his job and he enjoys doing it!!
