I saw the game on Big Ten Network -- and I wouldn't say they were murdered...

They played very poorly and shot poorly, yet still found themselves ahead in the final 15 minutes of the game...
then despite an incredible cold stretch - going 8 minutes without scoring...
they got back within 10 points in the final 3 minutes...

IU's home court is a tough place to win -- and at least Evansville made Tom Crean use his starters right to the end of the game.

Just look at who Indiana has on their home schedule...the absolute worst collection of bottom dwelling teams imaginable --
I get a little chuckle out of the Big Ten Network constantly talking about how the swagger is back for Indiana when all their doing is lunching up at home on Evansville, Florida Gulf Coast, Mississippi Valley State, and now their next upcoming opponents...
North Carolina Central, Northwestern State, Savannah State, South Carolina State, and SIUE...etc..
Have you ever seen such a slate of 325+ RPI cupcakes??
I bet they won't beat Kentucky or many Big Ten teams...

Would have loved to be 5-0 now, but this loss may have been what this team needed. We can't get by winning by such slim margins all year. (yes, a few of us will have a heart attack if that happens!) Besides that, we have to learn to put games away easily. These 1,2,3 pt. wins should be 8-10 pt. wins.
We can't continually find ourselves down with under 10 min. in the 2nd half - THAT will catch up with us. Hopefully, some of ours guys will get going on Wed. vs. EIU.

Apparently MK will be used sparingly this season again.
      Time to regroup Braves!
