Saw Donivine play last night in there annual Blue White game. I am convinced he can play major minutes for us next year. He will step right in for SM and we are going to love him. He has really spent some time in the weight room and his outside shot has also improved. He sees the floor extremely well, handles the ball well and is a great passer. His only fault from his last couple of years was his free throw shooting but they did not shoot free throws last night so can't tell if he has improved or not. If you get a chance go see for yourself ,he's worth the price of admission.

From what I've read on Remy Abell and Sean Harris as well as Donivine I am really excited about next year's class. They all seem like guys who can contribute right away! Plus you add a 7'1 kid to the class to develop for later...I'm really liking this class!

Not to mention, a great kid and the hardest working high schooler in Peoria. What he lacks in size he makes up for in toughness. Had he grown to 6'0 he would have been a high major recruit."But instead lets just hate while their MBB and WBB programs play blackjack against BU. Twenty-One in a row, seven by the Men & 14 by their women." ~NSBF

But you are right, there would have been a lot more BCS coaches after him if he was a few inches taller. I have heard DS is over on the Bradley campus most days working out with weights or scrimmaging with players, and has done that for years.

Hope he keeps improving that outside shot. Free throws are something that he can get better in practice etc.Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

I heard from a local HS coach out here who believes the AAU circuit is over rated when it comes to development of his players. He said it takes a good month to reprogram them and get them back to fundamentals. It is great for them to get court time but when they put such a premium in scoring it takes away from what he likes to preach and that is a complete game where you play hard on both sides of the ball and make the extra pass on O."Educate and inform the whole mass of the people...they are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."
