What's gonna happen when they play on the road, and against better teams at Carver? Call me skeptical. I know everyone has said a "win is a win" but my confidence in this team having a good season is not real good. They used to beat the crap out of teams like this at home.
LMU is not a bad team. They are a legit, good team.

So what if BU has been lucky in going 3-0?
As I always say, I'd rather be lucky than good, 'cause I can always get better. And Lord knows BU has lots of room, and frankly, ability, to get better.
These are the games BU has lost the last couple of years, so I will rejoice in small things, such as BU WINS!
Who wouldn't have sold, or at least rented, their soul for a 3-0 BU start, which should reach 4-0 unless BU lets this go to their heads vs USC?
For those who worry about the Duke-BU game, don't. BU will most likely struggle to keep it respectable, but they get exposure and the experience will be a nice reward for the BU players. This kind of schedule opponent never hurts in the recruiting. BU is in a great position, if they lose big, no news there. If they stay in the game, or, keep it close, nothing but praise. I can't drink enough Kool-aid to contemplate a win so I can't comment.
AT & Milos, you now know what it will take to see playing time. It's all up to you to get more PT, there is no one else to blame if you don't!
Winning ugly sure beats losing pretty...BUilding for the Future

I only saw second half but I thought WE played great. I remember several plays where even though he didn't get the board he had a tip to a guard or kept the ball alive and even drew a foul or two on the offensive glass. Came up huge with that block late in the game. I don't expect anything extraordinary from our bigs on offense. SM, AW, DSE, DD, JE, and WL can tackle most of the scoring, but WE, AT, and JP have to be big on defense and that's what they did tonight. Overall the team just out gutted Loyola, and in a game where you only shoot 30% you have to be the first team on the floor for every loose ball, and we were."How do you go from where you are to where you want to be? I think you have to have an enthusiasm for life. You have to have a dream, a goal, and you have to be willing to work for it." - Jim Valvano

Will they win a ton of games, maybe. But if anyone actually defends them, they won't dominate. When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

Now...need to correct the lack of RBS period and FT shooting @ the end of the games?
PS...Loved the playing BIG in the 2nd half!

Agreed he wasn't a star but he did some little things that will help. He's still got a ways to go but again maybe this was the spark he needed....

Of course, if these games end up being the norm, that'll be a problem.
Not playing well and 3-0 is so much better then not playing well and 0-3 ......Keep stressing the D...hopefully the O will come.
