Very happy with getting something from everyone who played tonight.....Kudos to Mk and the coming out party of STICKS......7 rbs in 15 minutes, a couple blks and some pts to boot.....Welcome to the Hilltop AT!

Now...need to correct the lack of RBS period and FT shooting @ the end of the games?

PS...Loved the playing BIG in the 2nd half!

The one thing I noticed about AW (really started watching him after realizing he hadn't scored in quite a while) was that 00 was in his jock strap no matter where he went on the floor and it seemed all of the other players were aware of him also. 00 was a lot faster then AW and after he made a couple of shots they switched to one guy guarding him the rest of the night.

The other thing I liked about the last 8 minutes was using 2 bigs at the same time and that off set the Lions height advantage giving us some big rebounds. (it also helped that the refs let them play)

Agreed w/ everyone that we are still missing way to many lay ups but at least the guys are trying and it didn't seem that anyone special player thought he had to be the star.

Last is welcome to the court "Sticks"-keep playing like that and silence your critics. "Great game"

I feel like since the Quincy debacle watching this team is like watching a ship that's taking on water in the middle of bad storm. You keep expecting the ship to sink, yet somehow it absorbs wave after wave (TB out, SM's ankle, JE's injury, WE screwing up) and keeps staying afloat. And it stays afloat long enough that the storm is almost over and the sun is breaking thru the clouds.

Staying afloat = winning ugly...............but for now I'll take it. And last year we would have found a way to lose these last two.

        Attaboy AT!!!!

I have to admit I was about to write off AT and MK for the season. Great job guys! Hopefully they can both build on tonight. We are going to need consistent quality minutes from at least one of them if we are going to go anywhere this year.

Glad to see 'em winning, but I'm really scared for the game against Duke. If we play this kind of D and have the 6 minute run we had last night at least through the second half, we MAY actually have a shot at beating them. That's a TALLLLL order, of course, and you have to remember that we have to pull it all together. If we could see Warren play like last night, Sam hitting his threes, two bigs on the floor more, and an improving sticks, we'd be pretty well off. Still a LOT of work to do, but we're doing pretty good for what I expected! HAPPY to see our Braves off to a 3-0 start! Oh, btw, does anyone know if there is an official Duke watch party, or is everyone just gonna pack the local BDubs'?
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

I'm gonna guess the Duke game, but it won't be announced... he'll be our "secret weapon".

Why are we so quick to give Milos props for his performance tonight? He played 17 minutes and went 1-5 from the field. While scoring isn't everything, what else did he do? Yes he had 4 rebounds but defensively he really struggles.

While I somewhat agree with you it was his best game in awhile. Hopefully, he'll get his confidence and become a Crouch-like player for us. Tonight was a (small) start.

I watched him let 5 rebounds go to LMU because he didn't put out the effort to get them. He should be our best player, given his talent, size, and athleticism. Instead we get this???? Ugh.
Perhaps the worst rebounding lapse by AW was late in the game where he was CLEARLY out hustled for a rebound by LMU. I expect better from a senior captain.

3-0 is a great place to be. Protect the home court. Find ways to win.

Very pleased with the effort and the use of bodies.

                            GO BU.
Disagree slightly about the charging calls.. I thought that two of the three charge calls were the correct call. The last charge was clearly a blown call by the official as Milos was nowhere close to establishing position.

Agree that there were nice adjustments during the game and this was the best performance to date by the team. Hopefully we can build from here and get much better. I have been down on this team until tonight. Tonight, I saw evidence of players buying in.

WE also needs to increase his awareness on the court. That last foul with time running out was a huge mistake!

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

A win was nice, but this was a Molinari type game if ever there was one...

Couldn't hit water if we fell out of a boat, but then again neither team could, and got murdered on the glass...

Only thing this team had going for them was turning the other team over plenty...

Given the poor rebounding and defensive letdowns and utter lack of offensive effectiveness in that we have very little perimeter shooting ability, this team better win all their home games because I don't see them winning many on the road.

There is much room for improvement...it could happen, but I am staying on the side of caution...3-0 that could easily be 1-2.

The real question is, are we just plain lucky, or will we get better and are just a team that closes out much better than last year?

Can we get much worse? We are playing horrible as a team right now, but our effort and scrappiness has bailed us out each game. This team can't help but to continue to improve with each game ...... I hope.
