Can't recall B to B games ever at BU.

It will be interesting to see what kind of crowd we get. Will it be another 6k or so like last nite or will it be less...more?

Will some BU fans say 1 game is enough or will the better oponent draw more out on a usual Weds nite?

Unfortunately I think that we won't have that great of a crowd tonight. By name Loyola Marymount doesn't sound very appealing and unless the people are big basketball fans, they may not realize that this could be one of the quality teams that we face. Hopefully we will have a big crowd. I know I'm in class til like 8 but I'll be driving down immediately after class to make it to the game.

All the negative nellies have killed any of my excitement.

Tonight's crowd seemed to be the smallest of the year.

I went to my first Bradley game in 1974. I've been a season ticket holder off and on since 1990. I've watched or listened to virtually every Bradley game in the past 30 years. That being said, the past two nights have been two of the worst in my memory as far as atmosphere in Carver Arena. I'm saying 6500 at best and very little intensity by our fans. It really used to seem like it was big time basketball in Carver Arena no matter who the opponent was, but the last two nights have been very poor. Winning solves most of these issues, but I'm really not sure how well BU will fare when the tougher part of the schedule comes around. My opinion is that it's going to get worse before it gets better. I really hope I'm wrong.

That's their goal. It won't work on me, though.

I'm sorry - I just can't help chuckling when I read those two sentences.

Really? I was 11 when I went to my first game and bought my first season tickets when I was 27, right after I got married. Sorry for going to college out of town, starting a career, and getting married.

Haha - my mistake. I read it too fast. I glanced and thought you said you went to your first game since 1974. But you were a ticket holder since 90. My bad.

Meh, the crowd was so so. The lower bowl was 2/3rds filled at least, upper bowl was maybe 3/4ths empty (if you want to be optimistic, 1/4th).

Seems to me folks are sitting on their hands because this team is inconsistent, if they would just run away and never look back from their opponents then Carver will rock once again.

You honestly never know when BU is down 7 points, and then rallies back, LMU takes the lead, BU takes the lead, and in the waning seconds of the second half you want to make sure that LMU does not advance the ball and shoot it from half court before the buzzer sounds with BU up only a couple of points.

What this team should really do is get a power conference opponent (or strong mid-major) to come in. Peoria is every bit a college recruiting hot bed, getting Illinois or Duke may prove impossible. But why not Minnesota, Xavier, Marquette or hell even Northwestern?
