    Go Braves!

    0 -0 at halftime.

SIUE had the wind in the first half.

Hopefully, the Braves pull ahead when they get the wind in the second half.

4:10 remianing. BU down to ten players due to red card.

BU player going for high ball. Kicks high ball. Then kicks SIUE goalie in face. Goal was out near edge of plenaty kick box.

Did anyone else see the SIU-E goalkeeper back on the sideline? He has about 10-15 bandage strips on the small cuts on his lip! And to make sure everyone watching knew how badly he was injured, he had an excessively bloody towel draped and displayed over his shoulder!

Both BU and SIU-E just missed on good scoring opportunities in the first overtime period.

              1 minute left in 1st OT....still 0-0

Now headed to the 2nd 10 minute OT period.

BU will have the wind and the sun in their favor.

Dangerous kick? Yes. Worthy of a red card? No. Worthy of a yellow card? Absolutely.

BTW BU survives the first overtime period with the wind and sun in our face and playing with 10 guys. Looking for BU to apply some pressure here in the 2nd half of OT.

I say as long as he is still standing and able to run, he should be forced to come back in!

Well, I take that back. Let their second string goalie come in so we can be able to score.
