Not a good start for the mid-majors as ODU let their game slip away in a 62-59 loss to Georgetown. Also, Syracuse wins going away over UNI 68-46. This tells me UNI may struggle to stay in contention for the Big Dance this year. They won't be bad, but it would have been nice for them if they could have made this game a little closer.

Regarding ODU, this game could be very costly to their at-large chances. They are favorites again in the CAA, and losing a close game at home to a top 20 team they have beaten in recent years will be very damaging come Selection Sunday.
