Sorry for TB but proud of BU for doing the right thing-lets take care of TB first. That is the only important thing. We all love BU BB but this is just way more important. I would hope the NCAA would allow him the year back provided everything proves out OK.

This is the situation-lets find out how to make the best of it this year.

WOW! Bradley's string of early season bad luck continues! But in all seriousness, this was obviously a huge break for TB that this was discovered now as this obviously could have been a life threatening situation for him. Of course no amount of wins and/or championships could take the place of someone's life, and my thoughts and prayers go out to him for a full recovery.

And for once people can't blame the trainers, coaches or players for "lack of conditioning" and "poor training" in this situation (and not saying any of the prior recent injuries were caused by that either). TB was dealt a bad hand, but hopefully with the help of his doctors he will make the best of it and live a long and healthy life. And with some luck he may even play again. In the meantime, I think the team will rally behind this and still have a very solid season. But even if they don't, the health of any human being will always be more important than how a team plays a game.

No he couldn't have prevented this but it seems like every yr something happens with this team and he can't pull them off the deck.
I knew someone would blame Les for this, even if was with tongue firmly in cheek!

Maybe we should just bring in the billy goat from the Cubs and let him run around Carver Arena for awhile!

Even if he has messed up before, this kind of thing is a life changing event. Whatever mistakes he committed before don't really matter now. All that matters is TB doing what he needs to do to get his health back on track. I hope he gets well soon too!

No number of wins could outweigh the loss of a young life, or even a SMALL RISK of such a loss. I'm proud to be a Bradley alum tonight, and I hope (but doubt) that all D-I institutions would follow Bradley's example. In fact, if sports media outlets had their priorities in order, this would be a huge (positive) story.

I know this is terrible for TB, but it's one of the most refreshing developments I've seen in a long time in college athletics.
              Great post!

So without Taylor is it looking like 6th or worse?

Gloom and doom maybe but I have very low expectations now

A real downer to start the year
What does Coach Les's season have to do with it? The young man has a serious health problem and getting that straightened out is the main thing.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

When did we become the Chicago Cubs? Have you ever seen such bad luck with a program? Honestly? I don't have words right now, I really don't.

There is NO way the NCAA wouldn't grant TB an extra year of eligibility with an issue such as this one. Get well and God bless, TB. Look forward to having you on the court for two more years.

Well said Chico. BU has the right set of priorities in this case. All the best to TB!

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Well said Chico but it seems that for some people they can't see the good that comes from bad things. I am like most on the board that are thankful that this was discovered before the season began and not during the season-especially on the court-how would people feel then.

Get well TB and good luck.
