Why did we spend millions of dollars for new buildings if we are going after kids that are being recruitied by Western and Army? Give me a break.

Patrick O'Bryant was also being recruited by a bunch of little guys..
..and that's just the nature of mid-major basketball --- every Valley school does it -- you gotta go for kids based on potential and speculation because if he's really good, Duke is going to get him.

Given the other recruits whom have given their verbals for this recruiting period, I look at the Wells commitment as us taking a flyer on a 7' plus player. I have no problem with that. It is hard enough for a Mid-Major like Bradley to land 7' players.Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

IU? UNC? KU? UK? Please fill me in.Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

I know it's early, but does anyone have any thoughts on where our 2011 class stands next to other MVC schools. I don't much keep up on other schools commits, but I'm sure others do. I think that's the best way to judge the millions we spent on ramping up recruiting."How do you go from where you are to where you want to be? I think you have to have an enthusiasm for life.
