Can't argue with that BU Fan 9.

I guess what we really want is for BU, large or small, to play hard, to play smart, to rebound, to defend, and to play as a team.

Agreed completely with both posts here.

Didn't make it to the game but what I have read here from real fan and others most of the damage came from our guards poor/soft D and allowing the open 3's Which is it Or was it both

OOB, I think that we should go with the big lineup, but I will admit that the jury is still out for the final decision. I personally believe that we should start JP knowing he will make freshman mistakes and that he will learn from them. JP got 2 quick fouls which obviously affected his play. I also think that there are plays there in which WE and JP can play off of each other in the post. WE looks to have improved his mid-range shot. Defense was terrible all over but most noticeable with the guards and forwards. We did not play as a team which has been posted here numerous times. JE left his guy open practically all night long for wide open looks for a three! I was also concerned that our guys struggled with the three ball???? After all, it is our house! Something that I found curious that I have not seen posted, is that the team got to the floor with about a minute and a half left before the start of the second half. Granted it was obvious that they got an a$$ chewing at half, but I think that it is critical for the team to warm up a little before the start of the second half.

So I was hoping for a 20+ victory last night, which obviously didn't come remotely close to happening.
Is it too much to expect a 20+ pt. victory on Friday night vs. a D-II team, provided that TB is back in the line-up giving us good production?
It's going to be a looooong week - hopefully longer than any during the regular season, but I'm not getting my hopes up after reading all these posts.

It really is too bad that we may have a load of talent this season and waste it on another mediocre season. Did the people who saw the game notice that our defensive effort and intensity was lacking?
That would be sooooo frustrating and what I don't expect it from this team in a SINGLE GAME all season!

No, but if we win by 10 I won't complain.

As many teams do, Quincy ran the dribble drive offense against us.
Guard dribbles down the lane we collapse, leaving wing or corner wide open. Guard kicks out for an open 3.
Happens way to often againt our "D"

Hmmmm guys that aren't D-1 material get beat by a DII team. Does that mean our non D-1 guys are NAIA or (gasp) DIII guys.

Saturdays exhibition looked completely disjointed. I was so stoked to go to the new arena, not that impressed anymore.....the seats are flimsy and small, sound system was not good, Paul's PA announcements were only coming through on the North side.

Is it supposed to take 30 minutes to get out of the parking deck?

I felt like the boys on the floor didn't want to get embarrassed, but had no real game plan to come to play, and when the Hawks started schooling them BU had no answer.

Want to play big and a front line of TB WE and JP would be big and effective IMHO

I agree with this and was actually hoping to see this heading into the exhibition game!
