There actually were numerous D-I teams that lost exhibitions Saturday night --
including Xavier -- who some have ranked as high as Preseason #10-20

We are 0-0 but why does it feel like 2:30 already?

I got five texts during the game mentioning 2:35pm. I'm discouraged. A couple guys showed that they aren't D1 material still. Hopefully, something changes.

No way this should have happened with an upperclass laden team opening a new on campus arena.

That's a nice thought, but many of the 60 minutes or so that would have actually been played by upperclassmen were played by others last night.

SR - 70 minutes (2 players)

JR - 31 minutes (2 players)

SO - 58 minutes (3 players)

FR - 41 minutes (2 players)

Just like I feel much worse knowing SIU handled Quincy seemingly very easily. Just like I'll feel much worse/better depending on the outcome of the upcoming isu/Quincy game. It doesn't matter!

I have said it before it is hard to win without a point guard and we dont have a back up point gaurd.You can win with out a big man but not a point guard and it showed last nite. How good would Darrian Norris look right now?

Because at this point, 2:35 would look pretty good...

Regardless of Taylor and Sammy being back, it doesn't change the fact that nothing and absolutely NOTHING has changed offensively or defensively...and new coaches, yeah, they are showing that they have zero input...

Poor helpside D, leaving shooters wide open for 3's, having our bigs catching passes on O and defending 25 ft from the basket, and all in all poor efforts to get back in transition and on ball rotation...

It seems to me there is one real change that can be made and that will happen if this talented team falls on their face again.

I agree 100% that everything looks the same even though some of the coaches have changed and yes this team has talent but extremely worried that our head coach just has no clue on how to get the job done.

But it's still completely JL's fault because he recruited them. He is indeed in a no-win situation here! If the team comes together and wins games the way they should be expected to......then obviously the new assistant coaches are getting things done!

A lot of people on here wanted them to play big but when yours bigs are so soft you cant play big.
