  • Unbelievable!

I sat near the student section, it was absolutely wonderful for it to be loud.

But here are my takeaways. We lost to a team that was very perimeter-friendly, that is it seems that they had a couple of guys (forgot who was 32) that could definitely drop a three-ball. There was also inconsistent defense on that end of the floor, and it was inexcusable to allow smaller guys to get bunnies.

And what was with Egolf shooting mid-range jumpers?

I understand this is an exhibition, and this does not count, but I sure hope what I saw tonight is NOT a sign of things to come. I sure as heck hope we don't lose our first home game at Carver this season.

    Grr...

    Absolutely PATHETIC!

It's all been said before and again about the coaching and the players that should be nowhere near the floor...

It's the same poor coaching and same poor defensive sets by the same head guy and the same two players that shouldn't see the floor...

This is an embarrassment and should be characterized as much in the newspaper tomorrow...

No changes have been made from what I can see and it showed as much...

I hope he's happy running this ship into the ground because that's where it's headed!

Yes this may only be an exhibition game, but IMO this just is a tell of things to come.

And I won't excuse our loss because of the refs, but it seemed to me that towards the end Quincy was getting the favorable calls. I mean, Bradley was in foul trouble way before the final seconds of the game.

Did Bradley expect to mow this team down? WOW, and I thought the fans were going to storm the court. Congrats to Quincy, just do well in D-2 please.

I heard Les interviewed by Snell after the game. And Les basically said they didn't play good defense, that several players are still not buying into it and are more interested in scoring rather than playing defense. He said if he's going to lose with them, he's willing to lose without them - that would get my attention if I was one of the ones he's talking about. JL could be the biggest loser here unless he gets some key players to play defense. Good thing this game wasn't streamed.... We wouldn't want Texas A & M-Kingsville or NIU to see how easy it is to beat us Walt Lemon sounded like he had a good game and getting Taylor Brown and Sam Maniscalco back should help. The women won and so did the soccer team but our boys couldn't make it a sweep. Go Braves

I'm not sure how I feel about this game. Should I be ticked off that we lost to a Divsion II school, albeit a good Division II school, at home or should I take it for what it's worth. An exhibition game without 2 of our 5 starters, trying to see what combinations work, and ultimately trying to find out, as JL said after the game, who's buying in and who's not. I'm not saying we shouldn't be concerned but I don't think it's time to jump off the cliff just yet.

Nonsense! Haven't you heard we're already booked for Thursday in St. Louis.....just waiting for our opponent to be announced!

Thats very well said and logical but the trouble is its the same thing almost every year....we lose a few games that don't matter or are closer then you think they should be and people start rationalizing.

Excuses start flowing and then someone gets injured and thats suppose to "make us feel better" about not doing well.....then its "wait until we get the new digs"......

We are 0-0 but why does it feel like 2:30 allready?

Excellent question! Last time I looked at the standings everyone was pretty much even at this point.

Apparently we have some cliff jumpers. I didn't say we shouldn't be concerned because this pattern does seem to keep happening again and again. If this contiunes however that cliff will look mighty inviting to jump off of.

Agreed.....but not all of us have jumped yet. Concerned.....yes. Hopeful.....yes.....(that SM and TB get back to playing with this team real soon....and that the new assistants bring something new to the table).

Don't worry, Les will be at the bottom to cushion your fall.
JL are not respunsible foor the string of injunrys....

Has any other Bradley coach in the modern era lost 3 games to non-DI's?

(Yes I know 2 were exhibitions)

Quincy turned out to be a trap game!!!! BU must have been looking past Quincy toward their opener vs Tex A&M Kingsville.

Too bad this wasn't a closed scrimmage for BU.

No way this should have happened with an upperclass laden team opening a new on campus arena.

Unfortunately, the thermometer under JL's seat just went up a degree or two after last night...
