Dodie - 18 pts 3 rebs and 4 ast.

Egolf - 8 pts 8 rebs and 1 ast.

Walt and Prosser both showed how well they can play in flashes.

With no Sammy and Taylor we needed more guys to step up but just didn't get it tonight.

But lets home everyone is healthy and ready to go on Nov. 12th against Texas A&M Kingsville.

I got on here and saw these and my first reaction was that I laughed.

I guess that means I don't expect much anymore. Or maybe I'm just laughing at all the rose-colored glasses people and the typical pre-season comments about certain players having NBA talent and defense has been coming along and so and so has really improved and will contribute and/or surprise us...it's all blah blah blah

My glasses are rose colored...and no one has NBA talent...and the defense was good at times horrid at others...JP has really improved and will contribute

I'm curious as to who has NBA talent. I believe I'll leave that up to the "suits" that get paid to make those decisions, many of which are wrong anyways!

Oh my lord, granted some top teams will lose an exhibition but Bradley has now lost an exhibition in 2 straight seasons.

It also seems that Les has preached that his players aren't "buying into his defense" for the last 8 seasons. Perhaps Les just hasn't recruited the right players or just doesn't know how to teach them the right defense. Perhaps Les should just say that his players worked their asses off the past 3 weeks in practice and that I need to get a better game plan ready for them.

My hopes were mildly optimistic over the summer but now they are just hmm whatever. Probably win some and lose some but won't be a great team. They'll need to do a lot over this next month or 2 to change that.

I wouldn't expect anyone involved with the Brazilian tour to have any regrets because of one exhibition loss during the trip.

My thoughts

AW- Good game. if it werent for the 26 we get blown out.
AT- Still more needs to be done but on defense seemed more active than before.
WL- going to be a good player... just the one freshman mistake... i like at the end of hating losing but that wasn't needed.
DD- looked a little lost but understand rusty.
JP- has flashes of being good player... just a little lazy on D at times
DSE- we all know what hes capable of... just needs to slow down a little
MK- still has a good shot but really needs a redshirt this year...
JE- def. wasnt his best performance... didn't have the hustle like he did last year.
WE- same problem as last year with foul issue, even though some weren't fouls.
AD- suprised we didn't see him at all tonight... is this going to be a redshirt year... havent heard anything about him
Offense- guards need to start looking in the post again for offense... had alot of chances to get it in the post but decided to keep in outside the 3 pt line.. and when post did have the chances the post moves looked better than the past few years and did get fouled once or twice when we did take it up. Def. could use some work on free throws

Defense- as everyone stated was horrible... played defense on our heals and didnt move our feet.

Refs- absolutely horrible... but no excuses

I'm a little worried but have faith we will get it figured out, it also stinks that we've basically only 2 weeks of offical practices but no excuse.. GO Braves

Jim Les had NBA talent.

Most D1 players think they will be in the NBA. Far, far more players than will ever get close to an NBA try-out think they will play in the NBA.

In fairness to some of the players that were on the floor that were building our lead up to around 10 and then our famous coach decided to sub in A.T. and M.K. who virtually blew the lead , you should have won but once again your so called coach substituted himself and his team right out of the game, DSE,A.W., J.P., J.E., and D.D. plus W.L. and W.E. were on the verge of putting this one away until J.L."s poor substitutions, this has been going on since he took over as coach, if you want to give minutes to players that are not very good then you need to build a 20 point lead and bring them in during the last 2 minutes of a game so you don"t blow the lead and the game.

Our biggest lead was 7. We went on a 10-0 run where we went from trailing 43-46 to leading 53-46. If it were not for that run, Quincy wins by about 15.

WOW! OK I'm done it is only an exhibition. I'l wait until the games really start to get bent out of shape. BTW...I hoe JP is as good as some of you claim otherwise it will be a long season IMO. We will need some depth with our bigs.
