  • BU guard Aaron Ganson

New to the team is sophomore walk-on guard Aaron Ganson from Geneseo.
Nice article from his hometown newspaper.
Aaron is thankful to have a chance to try out and play for Bradley coach Jim Les. He compares himself to "Rudy", since he has always had a dream of playing for Bradley.--

Yes he does but can you afford to have him out there long enough to get hot.....is he a defensive liability?

I suppose in end of game situations when you can sub O for D he could see some time but not to often do you see guys like that get that many opportunities.....maybe BU can have some blowouts and get him some significant PT.

Or MAYBE he can be our next Gavin Schier...shorter version.

Gavin Schairer, who played for Jim Molinari from 1995-1999, is a social studies and language arts teacher at his old high school, Burlington (IL) Central High School. I believe I have heard he has also done some assistant coaching for the golf and basketball teams there.

Aaron is a great kid and I am extremely proud to call him one of my best friends at Bradley. This article was awesome and describes him perfectly. I hope we get a few good blow outs so he can get some time on the floor. Aaron shows passion in everything he does, from working together on projects for class, to fraternity activities, to our weekly bible study. I think as he gets older and if he stays with the team he can be a great leader in the locker room.

Best of luck to Aaron and the rest of the Braves this year!
