How about Eric Coleman? He is only 6'6" - not best to be considered a Center.
You know... why not more praise for Coleman? Yea, they put him at Center, but the guy is only 6'6".
Weren't there contrasts made about Coleman and O'B? I thought I remember seeing threads about Coleman getting more press than O'B, but discussions showed how O'B out-performed Coleman head to head (freshman year).
UNI may have lost their coach, but they do have a few players that can play.
Grant Stout of UNI...he is listed among the Top 20 PF's in the nation.

Grant Stout....and I don't even have the preview in front of me.
so DUB, you are the winner.
If you want the absolutely free copy, just PM me with your address.
If you don't want it, I will send the copy to the 2nd guy who guessed Stout.
Please give it to whoever guessed it after me, as I already have the preview. I really didn't have mine in front of me, so I was guessing like everybody else.
I am happy to see Grant Stout get the mention, but I am a little puzzled that Stout got listed while Tolliver, Coleman, and Webster did not.
I think with those guys, plus Zach Andrews, and a few others, the Valley is strong in the paint this season.

Earlier in the summer, when I voiced concerns with BU's lack of depth in the middle, you said the MVC would be weak in the middle this upcoming year and wasn't a concern for BU. Which one is it?
You kinda got me there, BB...although I cannot find where I used the word "weak" in that context....
If you can find my previous statements in a search, let me know, as I could not.....
But I feel this way...
Compared to almost all the "power conferences"/BCS conferences, the Valley is very weak in the middle and is pretty much a guard oriented league. BU was mild exception last year with POB.
But compared to most recent years (almost any season over the last 10 years) it does seem the Valley is as strong in the middle as it has been.....and..... BU, with Zach & Matt, are still in that league & will be able to play well against what the other teams have, but against a Big Ten team most of the Valley teams will get eaten in the paint.
So what I would sum it up as--- I don't think any Valley team is going to beat BU badly in the paint, so I do think BU can keep up in the paint with MVC rivals because nobody is particularly strong by BCS standards..
....but it does seem most Valley teams have a fair amount of returning strength there compared to years past....so compared to past years they'll be stronger this year.
If that seems like a contradiction, then maybe I am just spinning it a certain way.....

I didn't have the time nor wherewithal to look them up, I just recall the conversation earlier this year. I kinda feel like we're not as weak as some think, but at the same time not as strong as we probably should be.
