What's Up With BU Player Injuries?

Seems like there is a 'cone of silence' around BU and the media about injuries to some of the BU players...



Anyone know what happened, what the players' status is, and, the prognosis/outlook for playing in the Closed Scrimmage and Exhibition Game next week?

Maybe these aren't really injuries AZ. Maybe it's for disciplinary reasons..... like last year.

They are more than likely just being overly cautious with the big 3. Sam has had that nagging ankle injury for most of last season and several reports of him still wearing a boot just before practices began.

No sense in putting any more stress on Will's knee for a little scrimmage and exhibition.

Taylor had that nagging wrist injury from last season, probably still protecting that.

Then of course we all know about Warren's foot that can be easily aggravated at any time.

So as you can see, most of the starting lineup can go down with a "serious" injury at any time. Right now it appears to all just be very minor and being cautious. No need to lose a starter during a minor scrimmage and little exhibition. The 1st real game of the season is pretty much a 2nd open exhibition, I imagine the starters will play in that game.

Aren't they sending their top spokesman-players downtown to do lengthy interviews and exposees

JL tweeted this morning that TB/WE have been cleared for the scrimmage today with IA St. So that's good news, no word about SM but based on his tweets he's been practicing all week.

Would you believe BU has several five star recruits who will submit LOI any second now? Would you believe BU has one three star recruit who will visit the campus next week? Would you believe the BU on campus student free throw shooting champ will be a preferred walk on...
