It was a poorly advertised Sunday night event, even MVC games on Sundays don't draw, as everyone on here (I believe including you) has noted...

Correct. Though I'm not sure it's ever been said that he's actually a preferred walk-on.

Just thought with a brand new arena on campus they could have scheduled a bit better. Was there a volleyball game on Friday or something?

I agree will all of Dogs assessment. Too short. Unfortunately I found the girls game more interesting. Anyway, I hope Lemon had an off shooting night he looked very good but the shot wasn't falling. I wish we would pass the ball inside sometime. I saw several times that the pass was available, and we didn't enter the ball. It would open up some outside shots if we could pass to the post.

I thought Eastman played a very good game (nice passes and hustle) Milos had an off night I hope.

AT looked GREAT! Skill wise he needs to work on his hands, but boy has he gotten bigger. Jordan Prosser is going to be a beast. If you ask me, shoe-in for All-Newcomer team. Walt Lemon Jr. has a decent shot, and has the explosiveness of Jermaine Brown, but with a better skill set. TB, WE, and SM did not play, but they will not be a concern I do not believe. Got to see the walk-ons ALOT! They are what they are but the little guard #10 has a big heart. Jake Eastman will be a major contributor and DSE will be All-Valley. Biggest Surprises were how big Jordan Prosser is and how big AT is. I'm not sure you can call him "sticks" the guy is a beast. Kudos to Ronnie Wright! Andrew Warren is a great leader and will be his usual self! 15-17 ppg I believe. One memorable moment was AT's block of Jordan Prosser. WOW! He shucked it bad! That's my observation. It will be a great year! ALOT OF TALENT ON THIS TEAM!

Our BIGS were 9 for 16, .5625 shooting percentage. Throw Will and Taylor (who both sat out) into that mix and we've got a group of bigs that can put shots back in the basket, can't wait until we get some plays that start to work it inside

Why would they charge $10 for a 20 minute scrimmage when they only charge $8 for upper bowl regular season games? Makes no sense.

He is, but I had no idea, I thought they Taylor Brown on the program twice and out the wrong name on. I was talking to someone at the game and got corrected there. I forgot all about him.

                    Just got back also.

Also didn't really like the length, though I spent the whole thing worrying someone would get hurt (I know the scrimmage each other all the time, but still). Thought AT looked a bit bigger, especially in the arms, but that JP looked absolutely huge. Thought Davis showed some nice skills, and also if you watched them dunking in the warmups he looks to be pretty athletic and a good leaper.

Missed the three guys who sat out, but I figure there's no point whatsoever playing a guy who's less than 98% in something like the Red/White, so I'm fine with them sitting. Jordan Brown did look a little gimpy running around, so I'm guessing he pulled something.

Lemon looks good to me. Played good D and looks like a great athlete. Nasty first step.

Speaking of the D, I thought the guys looked stout for the most part-- even the walkons. The kid from Geneseo has a nice shot, but he's tiny and I can't imagine him seeing the floor... Hope we don't get into that situation. That being said, Charonn Woods looked decent to me. He's very strong looking and has average quickness. He played decent defense against guys who were definitely much quicker. Hope we never need him, but I'm thinking he wouldn't be a disaster for a few minutes. With as much stoutness on the defensive end, regardless of who was playing, I'm hoping that means they're buying into whatever it is that Platt is selling.

I don't read much into a scrimmage like this, but I felt like it was an okay result.

To bad the trio were ot tonight....but I rather they stay healthy for real games....its always tough to look good playing against team mates...

JP is strong and should help..he sets a solid screen...AT looked ok, and Coach Les was giving him alot of attention..like other stated, great to see Dodie on the floor playing again....

Ganson has a nice shot...ZONE Buster!

Jake is a ton..that kid plays so smart and plays within himself...

Lemon is quick..really quick and can play some "D"...forced on "O" a little

DSE and AW looked good too...but like I said hard to look good playing against your own team....looking forward to Quincy and I bet they are too...

While Davis looked ok...thinking a RS is good for him...

And despite the reduced amount of playing time, they still had a 30 second shot clock for the women and the 35 second shot clock for the men. They should have had an NBA shot clock for both teams to compensate for the reduced amount of time.

What was interesting is that some people left after the women were done playing, I guess ignorant that it was a double-feature.

Can't complain though that I got in for free. If only more students took advantage.

Scheduling the Red/White scrimmage on a Friday or Saturday night makes more sense! Maybe the athletic department is on a learning curve

How can you complain about a crowd at a glorified practice that costs $10 to attend? The game was FAR too short and sloppy. I think this will be my last Red-White game.

I was unaware that the women were playing first. This was the first time I've been to the new stadium, and I thought it was really nice.

Please stop complaining about the crowd!
JL are not respunsible foor the string of injunrys....

I basically watched the matchup of Prosser and Thompson. I was hoping that one of them would dominate the other. That didn't happen. I'm guessing they will split the backup center minutes.
