Anyone that hears any comments on tomorrows scrimmage post it, the thing I am most curious about is whether Will,Sammy and Taylor play as we need these guys to be able to practice in order for everyone on the team to be able to play together.

It is unlikely we will hear anything. There will be a minimum of people present at the scrimmage, and all of them will be sworn to secrecy about it.

If 'Wikileaks' can spill the beans on supposedly secret & very sensitive US DOD documents, I am sure there will be someone who will clandestinely "leak" out some info of the scrimmage.

If nothing else, if anyone from BU didn't/couldn't participate....

If memory serves me correct, didn't some info/comments leak out about the DePaul-Bradley closed scrimmage last year? Not from Bradley, but from the DePaul camp?

If it happens this year, it will probably come from Iowa State, as Bradley takes the NCAA rules very seriously.

Just FYI it seems as though WSU will be scrimmaging Denver on 11/6.

I guess it's the best they could do given that K-State backed out of the scrimmage at virtually the last minute a few months ago. Alot of teams either already had opponents scheduled to scrimmage or had already planned 2 exhibition games. I'm still in the camp that feels, for the MOST part, it's more beneficial to play these scrimmages against Div 1 opponents for virtually the whole day then it is to play a 2 hour game against some Div II or Div III team. Just sucks that Denver was the best they could do.

but one tweet from ex-Saluki Anthony Booker -- who is now sitting out as a transfer at Iowa State...wants his teammates to kill BU!!
"Goodluck to my bros against Bradley today for their scrimmage... Kill em!!!"

Here is about the only official information we'll see about the scrimmage today-
PEORIA, Ill.- The Iowa State men's basketball team played against Bradley in a scrimmage this afternoon at Mitchell Anderson Court in Peoria, Ill. As per NCAA rules, the scrimmage was closed to the public and statistics and score were kept for internal purposes only.

it was held on the Mitchell Anderson court (men's practice facility).

                      Hoiberg Talks About Scrimmage

PEORIA, Ill.- The Iowa State men's basketball team played against Bradley in a scrimmage this afternoon at Mitchell Anderson Court in Peoria, Ill. As per NCAA rules, the scrimmage was closed to the public and statistics and score were kept for internal purposes only.
Iowa State head coach Fred Hoiberg sat down with cyclones.com to give his thoughts on the scrimmage.
What were some of the positives you saw from the scrimmage today?
"I was really pleased with how the guys came out and competed from the very first possession. They came out and ran the floor very well and I thought defensively they really got after it. I was very pleased. The best part of the day was seeing all of our guys competing hard for 40 minutes."
What were some things you saw today that you need to work on as a team?
"We still need to work on our overall execution and our timing. It's coming. We are a lot better now than we were a week ago and hopefully we will be much better in a couple of weeks when we start playing games."
What are the advantages doing a closed scrimmage vs. an exhibition?
"I like to have one of each. I think it's great to have one exhibition game to play in front of your fans and get that atmosphere. We have some of the best fans in the country and our newcomers need to see that. A closed scrimmage is also good for us because it allows us to do some things we wouldn't be able to do in a regular exhibition. I think the idea of doing one of each is a great thing."
Iowa State will play its only exhibition game of the season on Friday (Nov. 5), facing Dubuque at 7 p.m. The Hoiberg Era will officially begin on Friday Nov. 12 vs. Northern Arizona in Hilton Coliseum.

I don't know anything specific, but here is the only tweet from Coach Les since the scrimmage. It sounds fairly positive to me.-

We have more work to do...cant b casual w disciplines or fundamentals...cant get bored w process of becoming "good"!

I would hope BU's Sr's and Jr's realize this year could be their best chance to achieve some success....Can't imagine JL having to remind them they can't be casual or impatient with the process and work it takes to succeed...

C'mon men (BU Players)! Show some stones and go all out all the time...Follow the process your coaches lay out. Go out champions....Just look to your head coach to learn what it takes to be successful through hard work and non stop hustle.

Don'tyou realize how lucky you are to have the opportunity to play bb at BU and get a great education? There isn't one person on the Forum who wouldn't hesitate to give almost anything to be in your position and would give 110% without being asked!

I would be shocked if you didn't win and that would spell bad news for BU if you lost.
