I needed a good laugh so I revisited FWO's pic of ISU (red)'s future opponents, 'cause they all look the same from the neck up.

On a different note, which opponent do you think presents the biggest challenge at home for BU this season in both non-conf. play and conference play.

    My thoughts:

    Non-conf.
Loyola-Marymount -- We will likely handle NIU easily the night before, so we can't feel too good after a win (hopefully). We'd best be ready for a supposedly much-improved team. I think we'll handle Detroit in an attempt to close out the non-conf. (pre-Valley) in good fashion.

    Conf.
Wichita St. -- Was going to pick ISU (red) since we've had really tight games with them since Jank has been coaching them, but the game vs. WSU will be on winter break and on Jan. 1st. Hope we pull it out like last season!

There are several games at home that we need to stay focused if we expect to win, Wichita will be a very important one because they are picked to win it and if we expect to challenge them we need to win this game as it comes so early that it definitely sets the tone in whatever chance BU will have in finishing top 3 this season, this game needs to be a sell-out .

      I'll take Creighton...

Even w/o Altman, we always have trouble with them at home

Detroit and Loyola-Marymount scare me equally. Pulling off wins against both of these teams could potentially be huge for later on in the season.
This is just the tip of the iceberg...

I'd be more worried about a STUD sophomore who's done something as a freshman. I imagine they have more than just 1 player that could hurt us??

We need EVERY Conference game to be a sell-out! (Except SIU and Evansville, I don't expect much for those). Preferably with a LARGE delegation of the RED SEA!!!
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

When it's a freshman who is a Top-25 recruit and a McDonald's All-American in Ray McCallum, then I think it's at least a little something to worry about. Don't ya think?

I looked awhile back when McCallum committed......they have multiple 3 stars and maybe another 4 star IIRC.

Not the rankings mean anything....but I have no idea what these guys have done in college.

Fortunately we are playing them kind of early in the season when their freshmen will still be green. I trust our senior led trio of guards, along with DSE, will be able to put the clamps on freshman PG McCallum.

I'd love to see that! but to be honest i'd be happy with a few hundred students that will actually cheer loudly at the games.

SIU will get a large turn-out, it always does. I'm not really sure why, but theres no love lost between the BU and SIU fans I've met...
