Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

It would be interesting to poll the people that get the paper(most on here already said they don't read it) and see what they think about BU coverage.

In fact, it's not a whole lot different that home games, as I am sure there's a few fans in suits and mink coats where you sit who are there as much for the refreshments and good social time than for the game, but they're still loyal fans who support BU..What part of illegal don't you understand?

Last week, the guys finished their hell week practices. Did we see any coverage of this in the paper? There are very creative ways that the PJS could cover some of these events that would be appealing to a mass audience and a better read than what we are currently getting in the paper. jmho

Doesn't mean that Dave Reynolds can't take a page out of Jounalism 101 and ask a question about it.
"Hey Andrew, having just gone through "hell week" with the team, was there anything that stood out to you about this group of guys?"
Or how about some quotes from the new coaches?
"Coach Platt, now that you've seen a couple practices, who do you feel is going to step up and be the defensive leader of this team?"
"Coach Scott, what is it like being at BU and being on the other side of the ball?"
I learned a long time ago that if you want to know something that you don't already - YOU HAVE TO ASK.

Good point - I'm sure a lot of the squad is willing to share their experiences.
