CBS to televise the MVC title game again

It was apparently such a big success for CBS to do it in March of 2006, that they jumped at the chance to contract for it again in 2007!
CBS had to purchase the rights from ESPN, which now is the exclusive national television rightsholder to Missouri Valley Conference men???‚¬?„?s basketball.

Will Fox Midwest continue to broadcast the quarter and semifinals, or will these now be picked up by ESPN?

it was great that cbs televised last year's valley conference title game. too bad the refs weren't on their game and allowed siu to win. sad.

I'm guessing there's not going to be the MVC Game of the Week on FSN/Comcast anymore? That's too bad, I really enjoy listening to Mitch Holthus and Charlie Spoonhour.

i enjoyed mitch and spoon also. fsn/comcast did a nice job.

Looks like a full national game throughout the US as part of a national tripleheader.... nice exposure for the MVC.

Anyone recall if last year was a split-national game when BU played SIU?
