    Rivals does not list him.

Wichita beat out Wright State for his services

In 2004-2005 he was at Harmony Prep (Cincinnati), but they have three different teams, their "Varsity", "Harmony Prep Select", and "Harmony Prep Elite". Guy did not play on the Select or Elite with Josh Tabb.

Usually these import players take longer to develop, but they can sometimes be very successful. The best example I can think of is Luol Deng who was a very good player for Duke, and is continuing to improve with the Bulls. Of course there are examples of kids who were not ready for Div I, like Eric Vianney, another Cameroonian who played last year at ISU, and is now gone. Mark Turgeon is smart enough, I think he must know what he is doing.

Remember, Will Egolf is rated as a 1-star recruit and JL sees something in him.

I have seen Wichita listed in the past in connection to other New Hampton Prep School players.
The head coach there is Jamie Arsenault, and he must have some past connection with Mark Turgeon or someone on the staff, since there just doesn't seem to be much of any other reason for the Shockers to be checking out New Hampshire preppies.

One player I could find who is a graduate of New Hampton Prep, is the Bulls' Darius Songalia.

A couple more are Kansas' Brady Morningstar, and UNC's Rashad McCants.

By the way, New Hampton is one of those Prep Schools with an outstanding academic reputation, not at all like the ones the NCAA has recently been investigating.
Most of their grads are outstanding students.

One of the coaches (Spinelli) on the WSU has strong ties to the East Coast. He is a Boston U grad and even started up a prep school basketball program in Massachusettes.

Wichita State is in a position where they can take a chance on a big kid or take their time developing talent. They've got a full cupboard and have used redshirts in the recent past.

From the above topic on Valleytalk, it appears this kid is their 4th commitment for 2007, and they have only got 3 scholarships to give. No word on where the extra ride will come from.

                More info on Ntang

Seems he hardly played at all while at Harmony, and in an interview, even though Turgeon cannot comment of recruits, he does suggest someone presently on scholarship and eligible to return next year is going to be gone at the end of the season.

The kid was hurt, so he was unable to play.

A referee that frequents the Shocker board has done a game with this kid and Josh Tabb that originally verballed to SIU and is now signed at Tennessee said that Ntang is a bigtime athlete.
