I liked all the answers Jimmy gave Some are or close to what we have heard in years past (bigger and stronger) But I like Jimmys optimism and always have I think Jimmy with the additions of Scott and Platt will from the team of coachs that will make things happen Go get them Jimmy and company Can't wait for it all to start

I know that the PJ Star is doing a lot of preseason work and articles on Bradley. I know each year they put an incredible amount articles, features, previews, etc. in the awesome HOOPS Section of the paper. I don't know of any other similar-size newspaper who puts such a comprehensive college basketball section together each year. Its impressive.
I think you can either do small articles and release them one at a time or put them in one big feature like the Hoops Section of the paper and online. To me I still get to read the stuff. Two ways to skin a cat I suppose.

Just ran across this, wasn't sure if it has been posted here before.
It was a nice interview and very informative of how Coach Les actually feels about the upcoming season. Go get 'em Braves!

bbravefan...seriously -- how come every other media outlet gives us more than the local Peoria media give..?
You can spin it saying they have already got a ton of great stuff, but they're not giving it out yet --
but they're saving it for some insert in November??
By November - people who want that info will have found it elsewhere....it'll be too little too late...
I'd prefer to see some ongoing, fair, and maybe even some positive coverage now.....

PJstar "can't" get good details throughout the offseason...but ESPN can?

Good point BB. Too often we only hear the negative that the EVIL Pjstar does. The Hoops Section is very good and very detailed. When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

This is like people putting up Christmas decorations already. Is there anything wrong with waiting until we are actually in the season??
Christmas starts in October now.
Should the PJStar do Bradley basketball articles every day? Once a week? What? What is good enough?
I posted links to 5 or 6 BU stories in the last month alone from the paper.
I am positive that once the season actually starts there will be a ton of BU articles about practices, coaches, players, the season, the conference, etc.
Unless the secret conspiracy has overthrown the PJStar and forbids itWhen the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

By the time the section goes to print it is likely old news. Sorry but I want that type of information all year long not all at one time on a date chosen by a newspaper.
The PJStar established a section online dedicated to Bradley Basketball, why wait on any information for some insert into the print version of the paper? Same goes for the information for any of the schools they include in that insert.
This is 2010 not 1986. Times have changed and if your going to hold off and wait your going to get ran over and out of business pretty quick.
