I was waiting for someone to take the bait. A columnist to you can say whatever they want? Wikapedia "A columnist is a journalist who writes for publication in a series, creating an article that usually offers commentary and opinions. Columns appear in newspapers, magazines and other publications, including blogs."

He is a journalist and should be held to journalistic standards. If he just said I do not like JL and this is why, I would have a bit more respect then hiding behind his paper. He seems like a real petty person IMO with more then likely low self esteem. Be a man, step up and state your opinion. Imagine that!

KW did not do anything that Columnisits featured on the Editorial Page of the PJS, including the Nationally Syndicated ones, do all the time. Very few of their columns display the Journalistic standards you desire either.

So it takes all this for him to state his stance. He should have just said that from the beginning instead of creating a seemingly hit piece.
