I guess these guy sknow what they are doing, since they are in the betting business, but they have set the odds for various school s to win the next NCAA basketball Championship.

Florida is 5 to 1
North Carolina is 6 to 1
Kansas is 15 to 2
Ohio State is 11 to 1
Duke comes in at 20 to 1
UCLA 28 to 1
Georgetown 31 to 1
Pitt 32 to 1
UConn 32 to 1
Arizona 32 to 1
Texas A&M 38 to 1
Wisconsin 39 to 1
Alabama 45 to 1
LSU 46 to 1
Texas 50 to 1
Louisville 50 to 1
Syracuse 50 to 1
Kentucky 50 to 1

Here are the odds, stated slightly differently, as the amount you'd win if you bet $100 on the team.

For Florida it's $504,
for Texas it's $5000
etc....

but this list goes all the way down to #54, and they have CREIGHTON set at $15000, or 150 to 1 odds.
No other Valley team is mentioned.

By the way, if you like the NBA, here are the figures for them, and the Bulls are roughly an 18 to 1.
The Mavs are 4 to 1.

Any of those top teams can win, but let's face it, Creighton, Hofstra, Pacific, etc. are not going to win it all.
Even if they had a team good enough to do it, by the time they would get to the Final Four, subjective factors such as reffing would come in to play.

I will take all bets giveing even 1000 to 1 or better against those schools, and I am confident I'd be making a good bet.

I was in Vegas in May, put $20 on tOSU at 10-1, looks like their odds have only gotten slightly worse with the injury to Oden, that's interesting. I don't remember any of the other odds at that point, but I know tOSU was one of th only teams that I felt had a better shot at it than the oddsmakers were giving them. Now I'm not so sure.
