It scares me when I see the players already talking about the Duke game versus winning the MVC. I just hope we don't blow all our wad in that one game.
Kind of like last year when BU beat the ILLINI in Vegas in Nov then were very inconsistent from that point on.
What if the guys on the team and coaches had the same attitude as, "it's the same thing year after year. ...
there's some truth here -- the staff wants to make each year and each bunch of kids feel special and have something to bond together over....
It obviously took a little thinking and preparation in advance to get every player a camouflage jersery to use during "boot camp"...so some planning obviously takes place and I think it's for a good reason --
this is a very special group of players --
we have three of the best returning guards in the conference, and a couple of the best returning front court guys.....I am rooting for us to go undefeated.....
Could be neither.
Maybe he's talking about the BU boot camp workouts.
I have a feeling that FWO is going through them, but not letting us know.
Stupid and annoying is what you're body's tellin' ya', but you know it'll pay off!
I beg to differ........and one of the links below is to YOUR post about plenty of info on events...
(btw-- various rules, time constraints, some Civic Center policies, and even just common sense all prohibit BU from having open practices and letting anyone and everyone in....which is why you don't see any school in the nation doing it)
All over this board and several other places are documented at least 25-30 different events that you can take part in if you so choose, where you can see the players, meet and greet the team, tour the arena, and watch the team in action.....
in fact, the folks at Bradley have gone way overboard to create, plan, arrange, and schedule so many different events, that I cannot imagine where you come up with this baloney about nothing open...
Here are just a few links, but if anyone even needs to give you any links, it's because you haven't been paying attention or you really don't care, except to gripe.....

--donations -- yes, money does sometimes have its privileges
--other support -- as goes with being a long time season ticket holder -- and go to events & make sure they know you are 100% pro-BU
--befriend someone else who has already done the above and go with him...not as hard as you might think
--then, finally, some people I know who are NOT big donors, just went up to campus - or called and asked, if they could have a tour of the new arena and were guided all through it and even happened upon some players in the process.
Starting next Friday, many, many tours and almost free access are offered as part of what going on with the Homecoming.....
Some schools have open gyms throughout the summer.....
this may be true, but those are not organized practices, since NCAA doesn't allow such organized practices in the off-season...
HOWEVER -- we've had many, many posters point out that if you just walk in to the Markin Center almost any time day, evening, or night, there are guys practicing and playing even some pick-up games, and some of them are players....but there won't be any schedule to know when...

of course about the organized practices no being allowed.....but why would you think we wouldn't have "organized" open gyms in the summer...jw
won't all the players be in the facility now that it is open anyways?
I just want some off-season progress reports to hear/see for myself.......all we have is minimal hearsay.........tell DR to go watch a practice and write about it (if he is allowed of course)
