The current administration doesnt appear to be Pro-JL. Thereby it would make sense for them to keep people in positions who JL would consider anti-JL (ie Stowell)

The pieces don't add up here for the bunker conspiracy theorists, of which I am often in agreement with.

If people are furious over this, point it to Cross/Glasser.

Me, I thought Stowell was still sharp on the mic.

I have always been a coach Stowell fan. However, without a doubt coach Stowell has definitely slowed down the last few years. I can understand the broadcasters wanting consistency with their broadcasts. Coach Stowell will not travel with the team. Coach Stowell was always in a hurry to get his stats over after the games. As he repeatedly said he was in a hurry to get home. Many times he would have to repeat the stats as he made mistakes the first time giving out the stats. Let's let Coach Stowell go out on top. He is a winner. But, it is definitely time for a change.

I appreciate everyone's opinion about this, and what srw said seems correct. But let me reiterate that Joe was not fired from either position. He simply was not renewed for the radio gig and for the HOF committee, and there is a huge difference.

As is usually the case, there are other factors that played a major part in what happened, and maybe some people have heard rumors of some of these, but we will not allow discussion here about such rumors or about private university matters.

IMO their is only one person responsible for these losses (Stowell) and it is not JL
