I don't have a link but Osiris tweeted or had on his FB status that AI signed with a team in his league in Turkey... not sure on the validity of it so I could be wrong... just what I thought I remember seeing...

Wow, I am a bit surprised. I have to believe the money is very good for him to sign now, as there is often a market for big men that increases as the regular season gets closer, or injuries occur. I suspect he has an opt-out clause in case he gets an NBA offer.

It may never happen, but there have been some rumors that behind the scenes, the NBA is working with certain others to maybe someday have games or even a franchise in China...
Again -- it's probably years away, but China is a fertile area to develop fans and thus POB may have a good career there........

I know a guy who coached in the top division in China the last few years. We would hear from him from time to time. He marveled at the support, the money, etc. Very, very high class organizations. Good luck to POB. Get paid while you can.

One new experience for POB over there is the chance at some solid playing time...
As I reviewed the numbers and stats from the Chinese league, they do not have a whole lot of true centers that put up any good numbers!
Even all their top rebounders are forwards...and also not one single Chinese national player appears to rank anywhere among those top rebounders....same with blocks...so they appear to need more tall American Centers!
The Beijing team just signed Atlanta Hawks center Randolph Morris.
