I have no problem with the article. I love Coach Stowell but agree with the decision to replace him on the men's broadcasts. He was never a great color guy and he had gotten even worse in recent years. He has a weak voice for radio and, in my opinion, was beginning to cross (no pun intended) the line with some of his comments and criticisms of the team and the coaching. I'm sure the university realizes that a stronger, more positive broadcast team would be a positive for both fan support, recruiting and player morale. Remember, BU controls the presentation of their product and they have a right to want a positive image portrayed at ALL times. This might not seem fair or right but remember, it's not BU's job to present a "fair and balanced" image. That job is for the media....... they are NOT on BU's payroll.
Now, removing Stowell from the HOF Committee is a whole other matter. What the he!! were they thinking! I can only presume that there is an untold story here regarding Stowell and BU. If not, this was just wrong for BU to do this! Couldn't this have been done differently BU?!
