this article says the stress is virtually unbearable -- pretty soon there won't be anyone at all who would even want such a lousy job

The "internet" ... he's probably talking about you and me making it so hard!
I can say however - that it was definitely stressful long before the internet and all the modern things...
I have heard it described thus by each of the last two BU head coaches, including the one who had his first stroke while coaching..
