A couple of top Illinois 2011 high school kids have committed this weekend.
Sam Thompson of Chicago Whitney Young High School, who at one time was considering Bradley, just committed to Ohio State. Thompson is ranked #4 by ChicagoHoops.com. Some recruiting sites have suggested he might not be a qualifier.
Julius "Juice" Brown of Hillcrest High School, who has risen dramatically in the rankings of Illinois high school kids for 2011 with a great summer, just verballed to Toledo.
Brown got looks from schools like Bradley and Illinois State, but he is only about 5'9", and that limited his offers.
