No mention of it on the Redbird board, but I am sure they'll be interested.

The Minnesotapreps/Rivals site is an awesome place, and the source of lots of great stuff over the past few years on guys like Ray Brown, POB, etc.

Now they have a fine article on Alex Rubin, Illinois State recruit

Alex has solid ball-handling skills with a nice touch and his pull-up jumper is usually cash. His 13.9 points, 4.4 assists and three steals per contest led the team.

I really like the campus and the coaches at Illinois State...

Bradley has been up to see this kid. I don't think Bradley had offered him, and it looks like he didn't have any offers yet. He is listed by Rivals as a 6'3" forward, but he has been playing primarily the 2-guard in summer AAU play.

Here is his Rivals.com profile. He was being followed by a bunch of schools. The players who verbal this early, usually go to the top majors, because they don't think they will get any better offers. It's rare to see a kid verbal to a midmajor this early, at the beginning of his junior season. Good work by SIU and Chris Lowery to get a verbal this early.--
