    The really sad thing is that Drake paid somebody to come up with this. Any first year Marketing class at Drake could have done much, much better.

          I work at an local marketing firm, so needless to say, the Yahoo article is now flying around the office and bringing up some great stories of old marketingFAIL people have witnessed over the years.

          I do understand that an ad agency probably created the ad, but the Drake marketing department has final approval...

            It would have been an excellent campaign when W was prez.

                Their problem was going to a PR firm. Why in the world would you go to a PR firm when you obviously need the expertise of a marketing firm with significant branding experience? You need to get the marketing firm to consult with you on the brand and then get the PR firm to help you get it out.

                And this is coming from a guy that's been working at a prominent PR firm for the past year...
