Hope that doesn't interfere with any MENS games there.
Keep it up dog and for sure, they will make you one of the 3,500 or more season ticket holders standing outside in the cold on Main Street, (Shaking Like a Dog shitting razer blades), waiting to here the score of the game
I know it's a pipe-dream, but if the Lady Vols or Nebraska volleyball came to Peoria, would they play at Carver or the new arena? I know it seems simple, but I am curious what all your thoughts would be on this.

It would depend on the availability of the PCC.

I don't know much about Nebraska, but Tennessee is one of the few women's hoops programs that can actually offer buy games. That's why so many BCS schools will play road games in the sport.
So, I think with the arena and BU's dedicated fan base, with some sustained success in women's hoops BU can be one of those rare cases where they can bring in some noteworthy programs.
You folks worried about an NIT game at the new arena. Forgedaboutit
As soon as th folks at the NIT find out that BU will host the game in a 4,200 seat arena. By-by Home game.

Grassman -- that's funny....
Did U know....
Arizona State (a #1 seed in the NIT) hosted a first round NIT game last March 16....attendance 2,968
Mississippi State was also given a 1st round home game and drew only 4000
Seton Hall drew a mere 1800 to their first round game...UAB drew 2000
THERE WERE EVN GAMES in the NIT first round that drew under 1000!!!!
(Tulsa @ Kent State)
Even most 2nd & 3rd round games drew under 5000......
..and where were you when Illinois went on the ROAD in the NIT and played AT Stony Brook???
Stony Brook's tiny home arena that's virtually identical to BU's on-campus arena (their average home attendance is 1400) was NOT even close to filled...!!
Illinois, even tho they played at Stony Brook, was designated the home team because of their higher seed and wore their home whites!

First of all, I hope you're recovering well from your procedure Grassman. Look forward to seeing you once the games start!
The NIT does seeding based on merit now, so unless Bradley is really cruising along the chances of them being entitled to a home game in the first round would be rare to begin with, although the dynamics of the NIT may change now that 3 more at-larges will be moved into the NCAA field.
Even though Bradley publicly said one thing (about ALL postseason games being in the new arena), I would think the NIT would be an exception, in certain circumstances. That was likely mere saber-rattling by BU.
There's not much consistency in BU's NIT attendance numbers, and as the tournament's reputation has diminished in the last 15-20 years, it's really hard to compare the numbers of today to those of the past.
But for instance, Detroit in 2001 only drew 6506. Providence drew over 8K, but that was a name and Big East program. I still think if BU is positioned for a top seed, the PCC will be in play for bigger-name teams.
