Anyone have an idea why WSU's schedule seems far from completion? It seems they were closer in April than they are now. TIA.

really good, solid mid-majors have trouble getting opponents for the many reasons we have been discussing for years...nobody wants to play them...
I have read that Wichita State still needs at least two opponents to complete their schedule...
I doubt anyone who works at WSU will say -- "scheduling is not hard"
BTW-- winning the Olympic Gold medal in the 100m is not hard....it's just that the other competitors make it difficult!

I think they probably just became even more flexible on dates due to desperation.
With that said, be ready for at LEAST 2 300+ rpi cupcakes. It's sad really. I would rather them just play 2 or 3 less games than to add that kind of crap to the schedule. But, it is what it is.

I actually think they have a good chance at handing it to UConn. Outside of 1 or 2 players they are pretty average IMHO. Plus they may be losing a player or two from what I've read. Don't know if it's happened or not.
After that Michigan St is a tough draw (should WSU beat UConn). But who knows, maybe the Shox can at least make it interesting. They gave Michigan St a run for their money in Orlando a couple years ago.
The Shox need to win a quality game or two to make up for what is bound to be a horrible home schedule again this year....
