This Kentucky blogger calls the #24 ranked Wichita State mere "cannon fodder"!!!!

It is possible that if they both advance all the way to the FINALS of the Maui Invitations...
that the Wichita State Shockers could meet up with near-unbeatable (if you listen to the hype) the Kentucky Wildcats

Here's what this Kentucky blogger says about the prospect of facing Wichita State...

Kentucky is only 1 year removed from an 8-8 SEC finish (losing 8 of their final 10 SEC games) and a humiliating finish in the 2009 NIT.
But I guess 1 good year under Cheater Cal and the bluebloods think they can look down on the rest of the NCAA again.

When I lived in UK territory, I met many UK fans and learned that they are some of THE MOST ARROGANT fans I have ever met.... but also many were some of the most knowledgeable fans I have ever met.

This is why I love the pre-conference schedule. It is kinda fun to root for the other Valley teams (well, 8 of the other 9)...I will a die-hard Shocker fan for a day if they get to play UK!
