Bradley basketball puts finishing touches on tourney...

It looks like the 2 home games for the 4 tournament "host" teams is still intact, but those 2 home games aren't necessarily played before the Massachusetts part of the tournament.--
Bradley will get two home games in the tournament prior to playing in Springfield. Unlike other, similar tournaments, the home games will not be back to back immediately preceding the main event, which will be held at MassMutual Center.
BU will meet Loyola Marymount at home Nov. 17. The other Bradley home game as part of the tournament is likely to be the season opener, played during the weekend of Nov. 12.

So if there isn't an 8th team in the field, would we get Rider at home?
Looks like they only lose 1 starter (leading scorer) to graduation this coming season.
Would not be a bad test for the Braves.
We need 1 more game to give us 10 before the Valley season.
I'm pleased with our schedule so far - hopefully our opponents will do as well as last season if not better (when they don't play us, that is)
I don't necessarily like the fact that we only have 2 games in about 20 days in middle-late December, but if we play well up to the Duke game, I won't be as concerned.

The other fact of why it is hard to schedule in December is due to finals week. Most schools do not play during that week and each school has different finals week. I'm sure we are not the only school with a sparse December."Educate and inform the whole mass of the people...they are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."

"Working with" doesn't necessarily mean it will come to be, but hopefully so. Seems like they've had enough trouble getting LMU and TCU to get close to 8 teams total.
By the end of the week, we should find out if (and who) there is an 8th team so that teams can finalize their non-conf. schedule.
