I agree mayhem. Now that Lawson has a true "big man" coach in McD I think he has a great shot a being POY and, quite possibly, a mid-low first round draft pick.

Sammy finished last year very strong This year we need and I think he will get going fast from the start and finish even stronger. If this happens, BU could just make a run to the top and if BU would be tops, well then I could see Sam being POY

I'd say someone will at least give him a look in the 2nd round... the problem is that he hasn't played more than 25 minutes per game yet. Eglseder had the same issue.

If KLjr. plays 30-33 minutes, averages 16ppg, 8rpg and 2bpg, he should get drafted no matter how bad McD's squad is.

The real difference between Lawson and Eglseder is that Lawson is mobile and is a 4 in the NBA. He will be hard for us to match up with as usual. I guess I like his game and believe he has a great chance of making it to the next level as there is in the Valley.

I really have no idea how anyone is picking Fay as a stud. Do not get me wrong. I like his game but a stud? How does any BU fan pick him over AW is what I ask?

BB, you took the words right out of my mouth, actually my fingers.

If the Valley is truely a guard's league, as some suggest, and dominant bigs are rarely seen in the Valley, or at least at BU , the Braves should be loaded with SM, AW, DD, and DSE, complimented by JE and a talented frosh in WL.

Add AT and WE as fourth year players and TB a third year player, and things should be looking up.

Of course, the 'injury', 'bad scheduling', 'bad officiating', 'NCAA screws BU' and the 'lack of practice time at the PCC' excuses are still waiting in the wings for the faithful to use if necessary...

I just hope my annual malaise in overrating BU players vs the rest of the Valley Teams' players, or more likely, underrating other players in the Valley,
            doesn't show up this season!
