  • Brawl in Euro Prelim to World Championships

The finals in Greece (between Greece & Serbia) of the Acropolis Cup were ended with a few minutes remaining on the clock by a HUGE fight between players and coaches.
The Greeks were leading 74-73 when the game was stopped..
here is video of the brawl........watch at 2:12 into this video to see a Serbian player (center Nenad Krstic of the NBA Oklahoma City Thunder) throw a chair and hit one of the Greek players in the head.
    He was arrested......
Both teams now face possible suspensions from the World Championships competition that start in about a week.

In a separate story from the Greek Acropolis Cup...The Canadian National team gets hammered again in their stopover in Greece on the way to the World Championships in Turkey.
First they got killed 123-49 by Greece, then after a narrow win over Serbia, the Canadians lose to Slovenia 86-71.

Was anybody kicking people in the head with metal cleats because they were scared?

Golly, they were really wailing on each other LOL. That was worse than the NBA thug play and these dudes were 95% white LOL.
