9am? Good lord almighty. I probably would of passed up the deal to play on ESPN if I was SIU. Doesn't look to good to have a half empty renovated arena on National TV. Probably won't even make half full.

It's part of ESPN's plan to broadcast 24 straight hours of college basketball. Just be thankful you're not the MAAC school playing at 6am.
Last year I complained when the MVC wasn't included in this ESPN promotion at all, so I'm glad we at least have a footprint in this.Comment

Given our recent record, we should be kissing someones ass that we are lucky enough to have an ESPN game. The only thing that bugs me is that we are going to lose the opener of the new arena. If there was ever a reason for buy game, this is it. Losing your first game on national TV is embarrassing.Comment
