"the NCAA next month will double the size of its enforcement staff focusing
solely on men's basketball, adding three new investigators to the team."
The NCAA has apparently joined the college basketball recruiting arms race by, well, bringing in its own recruits.According to USA Today, the NCAA next month will double the size of its enforcement staff focusing solely on men's basketball, adding three new investigators to the team.

funny you should say that because our illustrious head coach back in 1986 used some not-so-flattering language describing the NCAA hit men (and women)...but oddly nobody made much of the head coach's comment a few weeks ago that said these comments......

"As noted earlier, almost all of the NCAA investigators are women and they are policing a man's game.
That doesn't go unnoticed by the coaches, nor does it help the investigators get taken seriously all the time.

Along with the coach who called the women, "the gestapettes," another said,
"If the NCAA was serious, they'd hire someone who knew what they were doing, not these women out here trying to get a husband.''

Given the promise of anonymity, 20 high-profile head coaches from across the country let loose on what and who plagues the world of college basketball recruiting -- and what can be done to fix it.
